Owaka - its name means "Place of the Canoe" and located on the main street is the Catlins Cafe. This is the perfect place to begin or end your Southern Scenic Route journey through the Catlins. We offer fantastic espresso coffee using world class Allpress Coffee. Our menu boasts homemade cafe style food, traditional fish and chip takeaways and all the tasty NZ treats like Tip Top rolled ice creams and milkshakes.
