Kiwi Biker Rally Stops Off In Owaka

The weekend of the 11th December saw lads and ladies from all over descend on The Catlins for their 2010 Kiwi Biker Rally. The trip took them down to Tautuku Lodge and while on a ride to Kaka Point a lunch stop was had at our Cafe. Great people, very cool bikes and good weather was the order of the day and it was great to see them in town!
Hollywood is coming to The Catlins!

Flight of the Conchords legend Brett McKenzie and some aussie bloke (yes we have heard of Hamish and Andy) lead the cast for what will no doubt be another NZ film spectacular. Director Robert Sarkies, of Scarfies fame, has chosen The Catlins as the place to shoot his next project Two Little Boys.
This is great news for us here in the Catlins and is another step in the right direction of becoming world famous in New Zealand........Woo Hoo!
